The historic charm of the lobby and memorabilia displays were a real treat. Our King Suite was spacious and perfect for unwinding after a fun day exploring the area.

The staff's attention to detail in ensuring the rooms were perfectly clean truly enhanced our stay.

Some facilities appeared slightly dated, which could benefit from modernization to elevate the overall experience.

    helpful staff

    Perfect spot for adventure seekers

We had a regular double room and it was comfortable enough after a long day on the trails. The staff helped us with parking our trailer, it was nice to see that kind of support.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but totally acceptable for the experience.

    nostalgic charm
    supportive staff
    cramped bathroom

The hotel embodies a nostalgic charm, remarkable with its memorabilia and supportive staff. Rooms are tidy, though some bathrooms feel a bit cramped. Proximity to dining and historical displays enriches the stay, even if noise from the street can be a minor distraction.

    charming decor
    organic fruits
    outdated amenities
    street noise
    lack of calling

The charming decor and rich historical elements stood out during the stay, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Notably, the hotel offered delicious home-grown organic fruits, enhancing the overall experience. However, the rooms could use a refresh, as some amenities felt outdated, and noise from the street might disrupt light sleepers. Lastly, the lack of outbound calling was a minor inconvenience.

    comfy beds
    nostalgic vibe
    spacious room
    tight bathroom
    empty coffee bar

Our room was a double suite on the 4th floor. It was spacious with comfy beds, but the bathroom felt a bit tight. The shower was big though! The decor had a nostalgic vibe with lots of memorabilia around. There's a mini fridge and a community microwave in the basement, which was helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to relax after a long day. Just wish there was coffee in the room since it was often empty in the lobby.

    historic charm
    cozy retreat
    game room
    cramped bathroom

The historic charm stands out in the lobby, coupled with captivating memorabilia displays showcasing famous past guests like JFK and Eleanor Roosevelt. Comfortable living in the King Suite provides a cozy retreat after exploring local sights, especially with intriguing features like a mini fridge and a game room complete with a ping pong table.

Some rooms have slightly cramped bathrooms, which might not suit everyone’s preferences. The noise from nearby trains and bars can bother light sleepers. Also, outbound calling wasn’t available during the stay, limiting connectivity, though there’s good morning coffee if you ask at the front desk.
